Well Chosen Son Lucky Landing Makes £34000 sterling at Breeze Up Sale
This reflected a return of 50 times the stud fee of this promising young son of Saddlers Wells.
Lucky Landing was trained by John Berry of Wexford who was so impressed by this young horses performance that he sent his two Brood mares to Well Chosen this season.

WHAT A WEEK FOR LUX!
4 winners in 3 continents in 1 week.
Andrew Bourns riding the Lux mare "Labella Stella" bred by Jimmy Lalor, wins for a 3rd week in a row winning the 6yr old final in Wellington USA.
Lux’s son “Tobias” ridden by Nathalie Ven Der Mei wins the Grand Prix in Belgium (28th March CSI Moorsele 2010) At the same Grand Prix another Lux was 3rd “Camblin” ridden by Irish rider Shane Breen.
At the other end of the world a 2 year old son of Lux “Ariki Z” wins the Supreme Champion Young Horse of New Zeland at Kelt Capital Horse of The Year Show 20-21st March 2010. Bred, produced and shown by Julie Butson, Everton Lodge, Auckland.
There was another triumph when another son of Lux “Olimpic” ridden by Mathias Spilmann won a major class in France CSI Barbizon 26-28th March 2010.
These are on top of Lux’s fantastic Irish achievements having won the 4yr old (“Derryinvar Luxury Cruise”ridden by Catherine Thornton, bred by Tom & linda Magee) and 5 yr old (“Special Lux” ridden by Stephen Egan bred by Seamus Judge) Showjumping Championships in RDS Aug. 2009 aswell as 4 yr old (“Hyperion” ridden by Francis Conners, bred by Bobby & Oona Flynn) and 5 yr old ( “Cloonbarry Luc” ridden by Cathal McMunn, bred by Neil Egan) Showjumping Championships in Cavan Nov. 2009.
At The Cavan Crystal 5 Yr Old Qualifier last week 3 out of the 5 qualified horses are by Lux Z .

RICARDO SUCCESS
Well done to Ricardo's daughter, the 6yr. old "Fenyas Elegance", WINNER of the pre novice class at Monart event 21/3/2010.
She is owned and bred by PJ Hegarty and ridden by Fraser Duffy.
"Fenyas Elegance" has been 4yr. old FEHL CHAMPION in 2007.
Also overall Hunter Mare CHAMPION at RDS 2008.

LUX PROGENY WIN IN NZ AND USA -MARCH 2010
The LUX daughter, " Labella Stella" bred by Michael Lawlor and ridden by Andrew Bourns WIN the six year old final in Wellington, USA for the third week in a row.
At the other end of the world a 2 year old son of LUX WINS the Supreme Champion Young Horse of New Zeland at Kelt Capital Horse of The Year Show 2010. Bred, produced and shown by Julie Butson. Julie was so impressed with Lux and his progeny when on a visit to Ireland in 2006 that she imported semen from Lux for her mare the result of which produced this 2010 N Z champion young horse. Julie is the Kedrah House Stud agent in New Zeland where Lux and Ricardo are very popular.

Lux's Irish bred daughter 'Le Bella Stella' won the 6yr old Young Horse Final in America at the Wellington venue.
