LUX PROGENY WINNING WORLDWIDE
The first couple of months in 2011 have been unbelievably succesful for LUX progeny who are winning all over the world.
The highlight at the moment is the WORLD CUP FINALS Taking place in Leipzig mid april. This championship sees one of the most exciting young stars of the world at the moment , namely TORNESCH , by LUX Z,being competed by Malin Bayard Johnsson. "Best of luck ".

At this very prestigious show LUXANA H (LUX Z/Libero H) wins the six bar comp under the guidance of Cindy van der Straten (Belg).
CSI BREMEN 4-6 March '11
Here we saw two very good Lux horses in the ribbons, namely SHAKESPEARE (LUX Z),ridden by Kathrin Mueller (Germ), and LUCKY LORD (LUX Z) ridden by Christian Ahlmann (Germ).
CSI NEEROETERN,BELGIUM5 5-6 March, '11
The LUX mare ROLLS ROYCE was highly placed on a number of occasions under the top sweedish rider Kristin Nyberg.
CSI DORTMUND, 13/2/11
The LUX Z mare LUXANA H was placed 6th here over the very prestigious Grand Prix course designed by Olaf Petersen.
CSI FOLLONICA, ITALY 6-12, March,'11
Robert Voss from Netherlands took 2nd. 3rd. & 5th in three classes with the young star of the future "UNIQUE" by Lux Z.
CSI COMPORTO, PORTUGAL 8-16 March, '11
Here we saw the talents displayed by the young irish bred LUX Z gelding "LUX FABULOUS" winning the 6yr. old finals for english owner Rosemary Hetherington,with Paul Barker in the saddle.

LUX 'S SON
TORNESCH just pipped on the clock for third place in WORLD
CUP QUAL. VIGO , 12/2/11 ridden by MALIN BARYARD JOHNSSON .
VDL GROEP UTASCHA, the great Lux mare ridden by ERIC van der VLEUTEN took ribbons in CSI DORTMUND 11-13/2/11.
Also highly placed in the Grand Prix here was LUXANA H ridden for Belgium by Cindy van der Straten.
CSI SLOVENIA 13/2/11 saw another son of LUX called Wavantos van het Renvillehoeve placed 4th in the GRAND PRIX ridden by Lukasz Wasilewski for Poland.
CSI WORLD CUP , LIPSIA (GERM) 15-17/1/11 saw a young LUX mare called LUXTRIA van het GELUTT Z just pipped by the clock for the no. one accolade in the 6/7 yr. olds,having to settle for a very credited 2nd. place, ridden by FRANZ JOSEF DAHLMANN.(Germ)

LUX Z Progeny
Lux Z has numerous progeny jumping internationally in World Cup Qual. and Grand Prix at the moment.
They include VDL Groep Utascha ridden by Eric Van Der Vleuten for Holland. Only a 9 year old,this mare jumped at World Equestrian Games ,Kentucky 2010. Also on three Nations Cup teams and had double clears all the way.
Only yesterday, 23/1/2011 Utascha was just pipped by .6 of a second for the Int. Grand Prix in Amsterdam.
H&M Tornesch is a 9 yr. old Swedish stallion by Lux Z . He is ridden by Malin Bayard Johansson.
Other Lux Z progeny include Sebastian ridden by Christian Ahlmann (Ger); Uberlina ridden by Nina Fagerstrom; Luxana ridden by Cindy van der Straten (Belg) etc.

2011 SEASON
We are now into 2011 and looking forward to the coming season.

2010 has been a phenomenally successful year for Kedrah House Stud stallions progeny both performing and in the sales ring.

MARE REPRODUCTION SCANNING TRAINING
Due to high demand we at KEDRAH HOUSE STUD are offering reproductive practice sessions for vets on Friday afternoons from 1.30 pm to 5.30 pm. There will be limited places available. Participants will get to scan a number of mares under experienced supervision.

Lux Z parades at RDS Dublin 2010!!
Lux is honoured by the RDS to parade in Dublin. Himself and Cruising are the only two 5 star stallions that were 5 star performers and have progeny performing at 5 star level.
Lux is the only stallion in the world to have won 1 Million Euro. He has participated in all major championships
• Olympic Games
• European Championships,
• World Cup
• The Pulsar Crown both in Cannes and Valkenswaard.
He is approved in all Stud books world wide.
From his first breeding season in Holland, Lux supplied five licensed stallions. In addition to jumping ability – with several offspring at the highest international show jumping level – Just to name a few: Tobias, Tornesch, Sebastian, Utascha, Perpetua, Rolls Royce, Luxana and Troye etc.
Perpetua – a top class daughter of Lux has won numerous international classes including the 2007 International Dublin Stakes class at the RDS.
At The World Breeding Championships in Zangersheide 2007 he had 6 offspring in the finals. In the RDS 4 year old championship 2008, 11 out of 30 were by Lux.
At the RDS 2009 Lux was sire of the winner of 4 year old Jumping Championship - Derryinvar Luxury Cruise and also had 3rd and 5th place in this final.
RDS 2009 Lux was sire of winner of 5 year old Jumping Championship – Special Lux who is back again this year to contest the 6 year old Championship.
In 2009 a foal by Lux won the Breeders Championship at the RDS. This foal bred by Kieran O Gorman has like numerous other Lux progeny, won many championships at shows throughout Ireland.
Lux was the sire of the first 3 year old Future Event Horse at the RDS in 2008. This horse now called ‘CCS Ottomatic’ is one of 9 Lux progeny
that have qualified for the 5 year old at this years RDS. Lux has a total of 16 horses qualified for the 5 & 6 year old finals this year at the RDS.
Lux retired to Kedrah House Stud in 2002 and although his eldest progeny in Ireland are only 6 year olds, it appears that he has already influenced Irish Breeding in such a positive way with so many of his progeny excelling in all disciplines of Jumping, Eventing & Showing.

RICARDO Z SIRES WINNER AT HICKSTEAD 29/7/2010
Rebel Royale, by Ricardo Z, won the Preliminary Championship at the Hickstead Dressage Masters in the UK. Ridden by Anna Dangerfield and owned by Sarah Morton, Rebel Royale topped the championship with a superb score of 75% with one judge commenting she was a "super, high quality horse". She was bred by Susan Fitzpatrick out of Cavalier Belle which was purchased from Kedrah House Stud

Well Chosen Son Lucky Landing Makes £34000 sterling at Breeze Up Sale
This reflected a return of 50 times the stud fee of this promising young son of Saddlers Wells.
Lucky Landing was trained by John Berry of Wexford who was so impressed by this young horses performance that he sent his two Brood mares to Well Chosen this season.
